Mr. Mu Xin mentioned a popular saying in Shanghai Fu which got popular among Shanghai people in the period of Republic of China that Clothes that wear too long and are not hung for a long time will lose their appearance. Clothes that are hung for too long but not wear will look dead. This saying best describes the close relationship between a hanger and clothes. Good clothes and good fabrics do not need to be dry-cleaned and ironed frequently. They are hung well, which is the most scientific way of maintenance.

So how does a solid wood hanger go from wood to hanger?
Let me tell you.
- Raw material preparation
- Purchasing raw wood material.Generally raw wood material will be purchased after the Mid-Autumn Festival , and winter is suitable for raw material procurement.
- Cut the wood into rectangular strips, about half the length of the hanger.
- The wood pieces will be neatly placed in the stockroom, and will be sorted by size for air dry. It will take about 3 months to half a year to air-dry according to the original humidity condition of the wood and the weather.
