Why More and More brands are choosing eco-friendly display options?

In past 2 years, we noticed more and more brands are moving their shops to a more eco-friendly direction. This reflects a growing awareness of environmental issues and changing consumer preferences. Here are some key factors driving this trend:

 The first obvious reason for this trend is compulsory regulation for environment protection. As governments around the world implement stricter environmental regulations, brands are increasingly motivated to adopt sustainable practices to comply with these laws and avoid potential penalties. From Jan. 2025, all wooden products arriving EU needs to comply with EUDR. EUDR is kind of similar to FSC, but certification is not necessary. 3rd party certification just works as a proof of your supply chain complies with EUDR, but it’s not a necessary document for your goods to enter EU. One can just declare the origin of the wood they are using by filling a form with all the required information. However, if it’s found the shipper is using false info in the form, the penalty will be very high, it’s a certain percentage of the amount of related goods you already shipped to EU.

 To meet EUDR requirement, Dadi has worked with SGS to get 3rd party certificate and has been working with all its suppliers to make sure the goods are safe under EUDR frame.

 

 Second reason for this trend is, eco-friendly display provides a more positive public image. This can differentiate them from competitors and attract environmentally conscious customers. Consumers appreciate brands that are transparent about their sustainability efforts. Eco-friendly displays can communicate a brand's commitment to responsible practices..

 

The third reason is probable ignored. That is, some of the eco-friendly options are actually cost-saving. For example, we can use Ocean Bounded Plastic to make hangers and mannequin with artificial wooden grain. Compared to real wood luxury hangers, these OBP hangers are even more durable and more economic.

Brands can use recycled or upcycled materials to create unique displays that tell a story. Many brands collaborate with artists and designers to create eco-friendly displays, resulting in eye-catching and memorable presentations.
